The section north of Panama Gardens is open to dogs year-round. Midweek mornings are beautifully quiet – proper space to run, sea air, and the kind of sensory experience that genuinely enriches a dog’s day.
Marden Quarry
A local nature reserve with mature woodland, limestone grassland, and a wildfowl lake. Endless scent trails, varied terrain, and a completely different experience from the coast – great for keeping walks stimulating throughout the week.
Cullercoats bay area
The coastal path between Whitley Bay and Cullercoats gives dogs a brilliant mix of sea air, open views, and interesting terrain. A favourite route for mixing up the weekly schedule.
